The Chat Place
Version 0.4.0 is a pre-release — Claude Code, Codex and GitHub Copilot CLI chats in one window, now on Windows, the Mac and Linux (preview), with backups you can restore.
An app for conducting Claude Code chats with standard lists and an edit box, rather than a terminal or a web view. It lists the sessions you start in it alongside those in the Claude desktop app, puts the ones that need you first, and reads Claude's replies as they arrive. Claude's questions and permission requests can be answered from a dialog box, long messages open as a web page for full reading, and you can see what Claude changed, run your skills and slash commands, and read everything Claude has stored about you. It can also run Codex and GitHub Copilot CLI chats, and pass replies between chats so two or three agents can work on something together. Claude chats use your Claude subscription and need Claude Code installed and signed in, and Codex and Copilot chats need those tools. It runs on Windows 10 or 11, a Mac with Apple Silicon, or Linux (preview). The Chat Place is an independent project, not made or endorsed by Anthropic.
