RSS Quick
Version 1.4.1 for Windows has screen readers say each feed’s name; RSS Quick searches every feed at once and is in the Microsoft Store.
A fast RSS reader with a clean two-panel design, optimized for screen readers, braille displays and keyboard navigation: your feeds on one side, their headlines on the other, and articles open in your own web browser. It runs on Windows and the Mac, with an iPhone and iPad version in public testing. The Windows downloads carry their own copy of .NET, so there is nothing else to install.

RSS Quick tour, with NVDA
RSS Quick is a free news reader for Windows, built first for people who use a screen reader, a braille display or just the keyboard. In this tour, two hosts, Michael and River, get it from the Microsoft Store, install it, and read the news with it. Every demo you hear is real: the real Microsoft Store and RSS Quick 1.4.1, running on a Windows test machine, with NVDA reading them. That's NVDA 2026.2, on its out-of-the-box settings and the standard Windows voice. The hosts are AI voices; NVDA is not. A script pressed the keys and NVDA was recorded as it spoke. Afterwards a soft click was added at each key press, the volume was evened out, and long pauses were shortened. NVDA's words were not changed. The test machine was online, so the headlines are the real news of October 25, 2026.
15 minutes, with NVDA, recorded with RSS Quick 1.4.1.
